The Montana State University Bobcats roared to victory yesterday evening at Haynes Pavilion, dominating the University of Wyoming Pokes with a final score of 4-1. Despite the Pokes taking more shots at goal, the Bobcats’ defensive prowess and sharp shooting proved too much for their opponents.

The Pokes, with a total of 55 shots, couldn’t find a way past the Bobcats’ stalwart goalie, Reese Mcconnell, who ended the night with an impressive 54 saves. The Bobcats, on the other hand, despite having fewer shots at 35, managed to find the back of the net four times, outsmarting Pokes’ goalie Pudgie Sabinash, who managed to save 31 shots.

The powerplay for both teams didn’t yield any results, with the Pokes going 0/3 and the Bobcats 0/4. The game’s goal scorers were Zoey Brown for the Pokes, and Nicola Roberts for the Bobcats, both contributing one goal each to their respective teams.

The Bobcats will be riding high on this victory as they prepare for their next game at home against the University of Utah. The match is scheduled for Friday, February 20, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado. This win will surely boost the Bobcats’ confidence as they look to continue their winning streak.
