In a thrilling match at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, the Montana State University Bobcats faced a tough loss against the University of Utah Utes with a final score of 5-2. The game was a true display of hockey prowess from both sides, with the Utes ultimately coming out on top.

The Utes outshot the Bobcats 38-31, with their goalie, Miranda De Antunano, making an impressive 29 saves out of 31 shots. On the other side, Bobcats’ goalie, Reese Mcconnell, also had a commendable performance with 33 saves out of 38 shots.

Despite the Bobcats having two power play opportunities, they were unable to capitalize on them, while the Utes didn’t have any power play chances throughout the game.

The star of the evening was undoubtedly the Utes’ #12, Morgan Lavalley, who managed to score twice, leading her team to victory. For the Bobcats, #22 Rylan Lorentz managed to find the back of the net, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide in favor of the home team.
