In a challenging game at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, the Montana State University Bobcats faced off against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes. Unfortunately, the Bobcats couldn’t keep up with the Antelopes, resulting in a 7-1 defeat.

The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, taking a total of 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. Their powerplay efficiency was also impressive, scoring 1 out of 3 attempts. On the other hand, the Bobcats struggled to find their rhythm, failing to convert on both of their powerplay opportunities.

The goalies had a busy night, with the Antelopes’ Annika Olson faced 19 shots and made 18 saves, while the Bobcats’ Emma Carlson had a much tougher time, facing 64 shots and making 57 saves.

The star of the night was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ Jennae Szucs, who scored a hat trick. For the Bobcats, Marin Snyder managed to find the back of the net for their only goal of the game.

Despite the defeat, the Bobcats showed determination and resilience. They will be looking to bounce back in their next game, learning from this experience and coming back stronger.
