The Montana State University Bobcats showed their prowess on the ice rink last night in a decisive 5-1 victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes. The event took place at Laramie Ice & Events Center on October 3, 2025.

The Bobcats outshot the Pokes 46 to 21, asserting their dominance from the start. Their powerplay was also more effective, with a success rate of 1/9 compared to the Pokes’ 0/7.

Bobcats’ goalie, Reese Mcconnell, showed an impressive performance with 20 saves out of 21 shots. In contrast, Pokes’ goalie, Alayna Smith, struggled with 10 saves out of 46 shots.
