The Montana State University Bobcats faced off against the University of Colorado Buffaloes on October 18, 2025, in a thrilling match at Haynes Pavilion. The Bobcats emerged victorious, with a final score of 3-1, despite the Buffaloes firing off more shots.

The Buffaloes managed 32 shots throughout the game, but only one found the back of the net. Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, was in incredible form, making 31 saves off 32 shots. The powerplay was a no-show for both teams, with both the Bobcats and the Buffaloes failing to convert any of their four opportunities.

The highlight of the game was Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts, who scored two goals, leading her team to victory. The lone goal for the Buffaloes was scored by #6 Anna Masiello.
