The Montana State University Bobcats delivered a crushing defeat to the University of Washington Huskies in a thrilling match at Haynes Pavilion yesterday. The final score was a staggering 12-1 in favor of the Bobcats.

The Bobcats dominated the game from the start, firing off an impressive 59 shots compared to the Huskies’ 18. Despite the Huskies’ goalie, Iris Piskula, making 47 saves, the Bobcats’ relentless offense was too much. On the other end of the ice, the Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, was nearly perfect, saving 17 of 18 shots.

Neither team managed to capitalize on their powerplays, with the Huskies going 0/5 and the Bobcats 0/6.

The star of the game was undoubtedly Bobcats’ #6, Erin Gallagher, who netted two goals. The Huskies’ only goal came from #29 Brighid Donohue.

Looking ahead, the Bobcats will carry this momentum into their next game. They will face off against the University of Utah on Friday, December 5th, at the Salt Lake City Sports Complex.
