The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game last night at Haynes Pavilion against the University of Utah Utes, with the final score being 4-2 in favor of the visiting team. Despite a commendable effort, the Bobcats couldn’t manage to secure a victory.
The Utes dominated the game with a total of 42 shots, compared to the Bobcats’ 33. The Bobcats’ powerplay managed to score once out of four attempts, while the Utes were unsuccessful in all six of their powerplay attempts.
In the goalie department, the Utes’ Keyauna Robinson-Prefontaine faced 33 shots and made 31 saves. On the other hand, the Bobcats’ Emma Carlson was kept busy with 42 shots, making an impressive 38 saves.
The star player of the match was undoubtedly the Utes’ #20, Ashley Paterson, who scored two goals. For the Bobcats, #19 Aziana Schacht managed to find the back of the net once.
