The Montana State University Bobcats showed their prowess on the ice last night, defeating the Colorado State University Rams with a final score of 4-1. The game took place at the Haynes Pavilion, and the Bobcats utilized their home advantage to the fullest.
Despite the Rams having more shots, 39 compared to the Bobcats’ 33, the Bobcats’ defense held strong. Goalie Reese McConnell showcased an incredible performance, saving 38 of the 39 shots. On the other side, Rams’ goalie Morgan Neibauer managed to save 29 of the 33 shots.
The powerplay game didn’t yield any results for either team, with the Rams going 0/4 and the Bobcats 0/2. However, the Bobcats’ #19, Aziana Schacht, and the Rams’ #11, Elan Forde, both managed to score a goal for their respective teams.
