The Montana State University Bobcats delivered an impressive performance last night, defeating the Colorado State University Rams 4-1 at Haynes Pavilion.

Despite the Rams having a higher shot count, with 39 attempts at the goal, the Bobcats managed to maintain a solid defense and secured the win with only 33 shots. The Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, played a pivotal role in the victory, saving 38 out of 39 shots. On the other side, Rams’ goalie, Morgan Neibauer, managed to save 29 out of 33 shots.

The powerplay was not fruitful for either team, with the Rams going 0/4 and the Bobcats 0/2. But the Bobcats didn’t let this deter their performance. Aziana Schacht, wearing jersey #19, contributed to the Bobcats’ victory by scoring one of the four goals. Elan Forde of the Rams, wearing jersey #11, managed to score a solitary goal.

The Bobcats will be riding high on this victory as they prepare for their next game against the Rams. The rematch is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, at Haynes Pavilion. The Bobcats will undoubtedly be looking to continue their winning streak, while the Rams will be seeking redemption.
