The Montana State University Bobcats put on a commanding performance against the University of Wyoming Pokes with a 9-3 victory at the Haynes Pavilion on February 6, 2026. The Bobcats dominated the game, taking 58 shots compared to the Pokes’ 32.

Despite the Pokes having more powerplay opportunities, neither team managed to capitalize on these chances. The Pokes went 0/5 on the powerplay, while the Bobcats were 0/3.

In the goalie matchup, the Pokes’ Alayna Smith faced a barrage of shots, making 49 saves on 58 shots. On the other side of the rink, Bobcats’ Emma Carlson had a comparatively quieter night, making 29 saves on 32 shots.
