The Montana State University Bobcats turned up the heat at Haynes Pavilion on the 6th of February, 2026, delivering a crushing defeat to the University of Wyoming Pokes with a final score of 9-3.
The Bobcats dominated the game from the beginning, taking a total of 58 shots compared to the Pokes’ 32. Despite having more power play opportunities, the Pokes couldn’t convert any of their 5 chances, while the Bobcats also drew a blank from their 3 chances.
In the goaltending department, Bobcats’ Emma Carlson put up an impressive performance with 29 saves from 32 shots. On the other side, Pokes’ Alayna Smith faced a barrage of shots, making 49 saves from a whopping 58 shots.
