The Montana State University Bobcats delivered a spectacular performance against the University of Wyoming Pokes last night at Haynes Pavilion, securing a resounding 9-3 victory.

The Bobcats dominated the game with a total of 58 shots, nearly double the Pokes’ 32. Despite the Pokes’ five powerplay opportunities, they failed to convert any into goals. The Bobcats, while unable to capitalize on their three powerplay chances, still managed to maintain a strong offensive presence throughout the game.

The Pokes’ goalie, Alayna Smith, had a busy night facing 58 shots and making 49 saves. On the other end of the ice, Bobcats’ goalie Emma Carlson had a comparatively quieter night, saving 29 of the 32 shots she faced.

The Pokes’ #40, Lena Roubinek, managed to score 2 goals, but it was not enough to match the Bobcats’ relentless offense. Bobcats’ #19, Aziana Schacht, had a standout performance, contributing significantly to the team’s victory with 4 assists.

The Bobcats will be looking to continue their winning streak when they face the Pokes again at home in Haynes Pavilion on Saturday, February 7. With their recent performance, the Bobcats have set the bar high for their next encounter. Be sure to catch the action as the Bobcats look to repeat their dominant performance.
