The Montana State University Bobcats showed their prowess on the ice last night with a decisive 4-1 victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes at Haynes Pavilion. The game, which took place on February 7, 2026, saw the Bobcats display a fantastic defensive strategy despite being outshot by the Pokes.
In a game that was dominated by defense, both teams failed to capitalize on their powerplay opportunities. The Pokes had three powerplay chances but couldn’t find the back of the net. The Bobcats, despite having four powerplay opportunities, also came up short.
