The Montana State University Bobcats scored a convincing victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes on February 7, 2026, at the Haynes Pavilion. The final score was 4-1 in favor of the Bobcats, despite the Pokes outshooting them 55 to 35.
Neither team managed to capitalize on their power plays, with the Pokes going 0 for 3 and the Bobcats 0 for 4. However, the Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, put on a stellar performance, saving 54 of the 55 shots he faced. In contrast, Pokes’ goalie Pudgie Sabinash managed 31 saves out of 35 shots.
