Bobcats Triumph Over Pokes in a Thrilling Match
The Montana State University Bobcats have once again shown their prowess on the ice, this time against the University of Wyoming Pokes. The final score of the game was 4-1 in favor of the Bobcats, a result that reflects the team’s determination and skill.
The Pokes put up a strong fight, with a total of 55 shots against the Bobcats’ 35. However, the Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, put on an impressive performance, saving 54 of those shots. On the other side, Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, managed 31 saves out of 35 shots.
Both teams had opportunities to score with powerplays, but neither was able to capitalize on these chances. The Pokes had three powerplays and the Bobcats had four, but both teams remained scoreless during these crucial moments.
Pokes’ #2 Zoey Brown and Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts both managed to score a goal, showcasing their individual talents on the ice.
