Yesterday, the Montana State University Bobcats faced a tough loss against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes. The game, which took place at AZ Ice Arcadia, ended with a score of Bobcats 0 – Antelopes 1.

The Antelopes dominated the ice with a total of 52 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 28. Despite the gap in shots, both teams struggled to capitalize on their powerplays, with both teams ending the game 0/4.

Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, put up an impressive performance with 51 saves out of 52 shots. On the other side, Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, managed a perfect game with 28 saves on 28 shots.

The only goal of the game came from Antelopes’ #5, Taylor Zahalka. Bobcats’ #20, Marin Snyder, spent 2 minutes in the penalty box.

The Bobcats will be looking to bounce back in their next game away against the University of Arizona on Saturday, January 31 at AZ Ice Peoria (AZ). Despite the loss, the team remains hopeful and will continue to strive for victory in their upcoming games.
