The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes, ending with a final score of Bobcats 0, Antelopes 1. The game took place on January 30th, 2026, at AZ Ice Arcadia, Arizona.

Despite a hard-fought match, the Bobcats couldn’t manage to get the puck past Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, who blocked all 28 shots taken by the Bobcats. On the other side, Reese McConnell, the Bobcats’ goalie, had a busy day in the crease, facing a whopping 52 shots and making 51 saves.

The Bobcats’ power play was unable to capitalize on four opportunities, as was the case with the Antelopes. The only goal of the game was scored by the Antelopes’ #5, Taylor Zahalka.

The Bobcats’ #6, Erin Gallagher, was given a penalty of 2 minutes, adding to the team’s struggle to score.

The team will have to regroup and refocus for their next game, which is an away game against the University of Arizona. The game is scheduled for Saturday, January 31st at AZ Ice Peoria, Arizona. The Bobcats will be looking to bounce back and secure a win in their next outing.
