Yesterday, the Montana State University Bobcats pulled off an impressive win against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes, ending the game with a final score of 3-2. The game took place at AZ Ice Arcadia, Arizona, and despite being the away team, the Bobcats held their ground and secured a win.

The game was intense, with the Antelopes dominating the shots on goal, registering 55 shots against the Bobcats’ 23. However, the Bobcats’ goalie, Reese Mcconnell, performed exceptionally well, saving 53 shots and proving to be a crucial part of the team’s victory.

The Bobcats’ powerplay was also on point, converting 2 out of 4 opportunities, while the Antelopes managed to convert only 1 out of 3 powerplays. This evidently played a significant role in the Bobcats’ win.

The star of the game was undoubtedly Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts, who scored 2 of the team’s 3 goals. On the Antelopes’ side, #17 Abigail Brigg managed to score a goal.

Despite the victory, the Bobcats will need to improve their shots on goal if they wish to continue their winning streak. The team is now looking forward to their next game, a home match against the University of Wyoming on Friday, February 6th at Haynes Pavilion.

Stay tuned for more updates and let’s keep cheering for our Bobcats!
