In an exhilarating display of hockey, the Montana State University Bobcats secured a 3-2 victory over the Grand Canyon University Antelopes. The match, held at AZ Ice Arcadia, saw the Bobcats overcoming a barrage of shots from the Antelopes to secure the win.
Despite being outshot 55 to 23, the Bobcats held their ground, with their goalie Reese Mcconnell making an impressive 53 saves. On the other end, Antelopes’ goalie Sydney Fornwald faced 23 shots, making 20 saves.
The Bobcats’ powerplay was effective, scoring on 2 out of 4 opportunities. Meanwhile, the Antelopes were able to capitalize on just 1 out of their 3 powerplay opportunities.
The star of the game was undoubtedly Bobcats’ #26 Nicola Roberts, who netted 2 goals, playing a pivotal role in their victory. On the Antelopes side, #17 Abigail Brigg managed to score 1 goal.
