The Montana State University Bobcats pulled off an impressive victory against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on Tuesday, February 1st, 2026, at AZ Ice Arcadia. Despite being outshot by a large margin, the Bobcats managed to clinch a 3-2 win in a thrilling game that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

The Bobcats had 23 shots, while the Antelopes had a whopping 55 shots. However, the Bobcats’ stellar defensive play and outstanding goaltending by Reese Mcconnell, who made 53 saves, kept them in the game and ultimately led them to victory.

The Bobcats’ powerplay was efficient, with a success rate of 50%, converting 2 out of the 4 opportunities. On the other hand, the Antelopes managed to capitalize on only one of their three powerplays.
