The Montana State University Bobcats delivered a decisive victory against the University of Denver Pioneers, ending the game with a final score of Bobcats 5, Pioneers 0 at the Family Sports Center. The Bobcats proved their prowess on the ice, outshooting the Pioneers 48 to 25.

Despite three powerplay opportunities for both teams, neither was able to capitalize. However, the Bobcats’ impressive offensive display more than made up for the lack of powerplay goals.

Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, showcased an impeccable performance, stopping all 25 shots that came his way. On the other hand, Pioneers’ goalie, Leia Schaefer, faced a barrage of 48 shots, managing to save 43.

Star of the game was undoubtedly Bobcats’ #6 Erin Gallagher, who netted two goals, contributing significantly to the team’s victory. On the Pioneers’ side, #22 Reese Olson spent two minutes in the penalty box, further hindering the Pioneers’ efforts.

The Bobcats are set to face the Pioneers again in an away game on Saturday, November 15, at the Joy Burns Arena at Ritchie Center. After this commanding performance, the Bobcats will be heading into their next game with high spirits and the aim to replicate their success.
