In a thrilling face-off at the Edora Pool Ice Center, the Montana State University Bobcats emerged victorious against the Colorado State University Rams with a final score of 3-1. Despite the Rams having a slight edge in shots, 45 to the Bobcats’ 43, it was the Bobcats who managed to make their shots count.
The Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, put on a spectacular performance, saving 44 out of 45 shots. On the other end, the Rams’ Morgan Neibauer managed to save 40 out of 43 shots. The Bobcats’ powerplay stood at 0/1, while the Rams struggled at 0/4.
Bobcats’ #4 Maeve Kelleher showed her prowess on the ice, contributing one goal to the Bobcats’ victory. Rams’ #20 Emme Coquet managed to slip one past McConnell, scoring the lone goal for the Rams.
