The Montana State University Bobcats came out on top in a thrilling hockey game against the Colorado State University Rams on October 5, 2025, with a final score of 3-1. The game was held at the Edora Pool Ice Center in Colorado.
Despite the Rams having a slight edge with 45 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 43, the Bobcats managed to make the most of their opportunities. The Bobcats’ powerplay was 0/1, while the Rams’ powerplay was 0/4.
Bobcats goalie Reese McConnell had an outstanding performance with 44 saves out of 45 shots. On the other hand, Rams’ goalie Morgan Neibauer managed to save 40 out of 43 shots.
Bobcats’ #4 Maeve Kelleher scored an impressive goal, while Rams’ #20 Emme Coquet also managed to get one past the Bobcats’ defense.
The Bobcats will look to continue their winning streak in their next game at home against the University of Colorado. The game will take place on Friday, October 17 at 7:30 pm MDT at Haynes Pavilion.
