In a stunning display of skill and teamwork, the Montana State University Bobcats obliterated the University of Washington Huskies 11-0 at the Kraken Community Iceplex on the evening of October 24th, 2025.

The Bobcats dominated the game from the outset, with an impressive 45 shots on goal compared to the Huskies’ 24. Despite the Huskies’ best efforts, they were unable to penetrate the Bobcats’ solid defense and outstanding goalie, Reese McConnell. McConnell, in a flawless performance, saved all 24 shots attempted by the Huskies.

On the Huskies’ side, goalie Yasmine Mohamed faced an onslaught of 45 shots, managing to save 34. However, the relentless offensive pressure from the Bobcats resulted in 11 goals making it past her.

Standout player Maeve Kelleher, wearing #4 for the Bobcats, had an exceptional game, scoring two of the Bobcats’ eleven goals. Conversely, the Huskies’ #24, Chantal Carlson, had a difficult night with no penalty minutes.

Neither team had any powerplay opportunities during the game, a testament to the disciplined play on both sides.

The Bobcats will be looking to carry this momentum into their next game, which is also against the University of Washington Huskies. The game will be held on October 25th at the Kraken Community Iceplex.
