In a stunning display of power and skill, the Montana State University Bobcats hockey team annihilated the University of Washington Huskies in an 11-0 victory last night at the Kraken Community Iceplex.
The Bobcats, showing no mercy, fired off an impressive 45 shots throughout the game. The Huskies, on the other hand, managed only 24 shots, all of which were expertly saved by Bobcats goalie Reese McConnell.
The Huskies’ goalie, Yasmine Mohamed, faced a tough night, with 45 shots coming her way. Despite her best efforts, she was only able to save 34, allowing 11 goals in total.
Bobcats’ #10, Faith Hobbs, was a standout player in the game, scoring two of the eleven goals. On the other side, Huskies’ #29, Brighid Donohue, had a quiet game with no penalty minutes.
Interestingly, both teams had a powerplay of 0/0, indicating a relatively clean and fair game.
The Bobcats will be looking to continue their winning streak in their next game against the University of Washington on Saturday, Oct 25, at the Kraken Community Iceplex.
