What a night for the Montana State University Bobcats as they obliterated the University of Washington Huskies with a stunning 11-0 victory at the Kraken Community Iceplex on October 24th, 2025.
From the get-go, the Bobcats dominated the ice, outshooting their opponents with 45 shots compared to the Huskies’ 24. Both teams had no powerplay opportunities, but the Bobcats didn’t need any as they kept the pressure on the Huskies throughout the game.
Bobcats goalie, Reese Mcconnell, had a perfect game, stopping all 24 shots he faced. On the other end of the rink, Huskies’ Yasmine Mohamed had a tough night, making 34 saves on 45 shots.
The star of the night, however, was Bobcats’ #4 Maeve Kelleher, who netted two goals, contributing significantly to the Bobcats’ victory. On the Huskies’ side, #17 Lauren Chan had a quiet night with no penalty minutes.
The Bobcats will look to continue their winning streak as they face the Huskies again at the Kraken Community Iceplex on Saturday, October 25th. The Huskies will have to regroup and come up with a new game plan if they want to prevent another blowout.
