The Montana State University Bobcats showed no mercy as they dominated the University of Washington Huskies in an 11-0 victory. The game took place on 24th October 2025 at the Kraken Community Iceplex in Washington.
The Bobcats demonstrated their offensive prowess by launching 45 shots at the Huskies’ net. The Huskies struggled to keep up, managing only 24 shots in return. Despite numerous attempts at goal, neither team was able to capitalize on powerplay opportunities, with both teams registering a powerplay record of 0/0.
Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, was the star of the show, saving all 24 shots fired at him. On the other side of the ice, Huskies’ goalie Yasmine Mohamed faced a barrage of shots, managing to save 34 out of the 45 shots on goal.
Rylan Lorentz, wearing #22 for the Bobcats, was a force to be reckoned with, scoring two goals. Meanwhile, Huskies’ #18, Paige Garnes, managed to stay out of the penalty box, recording 0 penalty minutes.
The Bobcats will face the Huskies once again in their next game on Saturday, October 25th, at the Kraken Community Iceplex in Washington. After their impressive victory, the Bobcats will no doubt be entering the game with high spirits and a determination to repeat their success.
