The Montana State University Bobcats put on an impressive display last night, shutting out the University of Washington Huskies 11-0 at the Kraken Community Iceplex in Washington. With a staggering 45 shots on goal, the Bobcats’ relentless offense was a sight to behold.
Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, had an outstanding game, making 24 saves and holding the Huskies scoreless. On the other end of the ice, Huskies’ goalie, Yasmine Mohamed, faced a barrage of shots, making 34 saves on 45 attempts.
The star of the night was undoubtedly Bobcats’ #4, Maeve Kelleher, who netted 2 goals in the match. Despite the Huskies’ best efforts, they could not break through the Bobcats’ defense and ended the game with zero penalty minutes.
In the powerplay department, neither team managed to capitalize on their opportunities, with the Bobcats and Huskies both ending the game at 0/0.
