Bobcats Blank Huskies in Dominant Performance
The Montana State University Bobcats delivered a masterclass in hockey as they outplayed and shutout the University of Washington Huskies with a whopping 12-0 scoreline on October 25, 2025.
The game, held at the Kraken Community Iceplex in Washington, saw the Bobcats dominate the ice with an impressive 41 shots compared to the Huskies’ paltry 11. The Bobcats’ powerplay was in full swing, converting 1 out of 5 opportunities, while the Huskies failed to capitalize on their 2 powerplay chances.
Goalie Reese McConnell was the star of the show for the Bobcats, saving all 11 shots aimed at him. His Huskies counterpart, Yasmine Mohamed, had a night to forget, saving only 29 out of the 41 shots she faced.
The Bobcats’ #4, Maeve Kelleher, was on fire, netting a hat trick, while Huskies’ #55, Jocelynn Delamerced, spent the most time in the penalty box with 4 minutes.
The Bobcats will look to carry this momentum into their next game, an away fixture against the University of Denver on Friday, November 14, at the Family Sports Center. The Huskies, on the other hand, will need to regroup and rethink their strategies after this heavy defeat.
