In a gripping match on Sunday, February 20, the Montana State University Bobcats fell 5-2 to the University of Utah Utes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink.

The Utes, with a total of 38 shots, managed to outscore the Bobcats, who made a commendable 31 shots. The Utes’ powerplay remained at 0/0, while the Bobcats’ powerplay stood at 0/2.

In the goalie department, the Utes’ Miranda De Antunano made 29 saves out of 31 shots, while the Bobcats’ Reese Mcconnell managed 33 saves out of 38 shots.

The game’s standout players were Utes’ #12 Morgan Lavalley who scored 2 goals, and Bobcats’ #22 Rylan Lorentz who scored a goal.
