The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on February 21, 2026 at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 defeat for the Bobcats.

Despite the Bobcats’ best efforts, the Antelopes dominated the game with a staggering 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes also capitalized on their powerplay opportunities, scoring once out of three attempts. In contrast, the Bobcats were unable to convert any of their two powerplay chances.

The goaltending on both sides was a significant factor in the game. Annika Olson of the Antelopes faced 19 shots and made 18 saves, while Emma Carlson of the Bobcats was bombarded with 64 shots, making 57 saves.

The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ Jennae Szucs, who netted a hat trick. For the Bobcats, Marin Snyder managed to score the team’s lone goal.
