The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on 21st February 2026 at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes.
The Antelopes dominated the game with a massive 64 shots on goal, compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Bobcats’ goalie, Emma Carlson, despite being under heavy pressure, managed to save 57 shots, showing her resilience and determination.
The powerplay statistics also reflected the Antelopes’ dominance. They succeeded in 1 out of their 3 powerplays, while the Bobcats couldn’t capitalize on any of their two opportunities. The Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had a relatively easy game, facing 19 shots and saving 18.
The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who scored an impressive hat-trick. The Bobcats’ lone goal came from #20, Marin Snyder, who managed to find the back of the net despite the team’s overall struggle.
Despite the challenging game, the Bobcats showed spirit and determination. The team will surely learn from this experience and come back stronger in their future games.
