In a challenging face-off at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, the Montana State University Bobcats suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of the Grand Canyon University Antelopes. The final score of the game was a disappointing 7-1 for the Bobcats.

The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, firing a staggering 64 shots at the Bobcats’ goal. In contrast, the Bobcats managed to get off only 19 shots. The disparity in the offensive play was clear and gave the Antelopes the upper hand throughout the game.

The Antelopes also had a successful powerplay, converting 1 out of 3 opportunities, while the Bobcats failed to capitalize on their 2 powerplay chances.

In the goal, the Antelopes’ Annika Olson put up a strong performance with 18 saves on 19 shots. On the other end, Bobcats’ Emma Carlson faced a relentless attack, making 57 saves on 64 shots.

The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12 Jennae Szucs, who scored a hat trick. For the Bobcats, the lone goal was netted by #20 Marin Snyder.
