The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging night on the ice as they took on the Grand Canyon University Antelopes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. The final score was a tough pill to swallow for the Bobcats, with the Antelopes securing a commanding 7-1 victory.
The Antelopes dominated the game from the start, firing an impressive 64 shots on goal. The Bobcats, however, managed only 19 shots throughout the game. The Antelopes’ powerplay was successful 1 out of 3 times, while the Bobcats couldn’t capitalize on their 2 powerplay opportunities.
In the goal, Antelopes’ Annika Olson had an impressive night, facing 19 shots and making 18 saves. On the other side, Bobcats’ goalie Emma Carlson faced a barrage of shots, making 57 saves out of 64 shots.
