The Montana State University Bobcats delivered an impressive performance on the ice last night, shutting out the University of Washington Huskies 11-0 at the Kraken Community Iceplex. The Bobcats displayed an exceptional offensive game, taking a whopping 45 shots compared to the Huskies’ 24.

Despite no powerplay opportunities for either team, the Bobcats’ offensive prowess was undeniable, with Rylan Lorentz (#22) leading the charge with two goals. On the defensive end, Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, was a brick wall, saving all 24 shots that came his way.

The Huskies struggled to find their footing throughout the game. Their goalie, Yasmine Mohamed, managed to save 34 out of 45 shots but couldn’t hold back the Bobcats’ relentless attack. The Huskies’ Khaliya Sidi (#12) also had a tough night with zero penalty minutes.

The Bobcats will be looking to carry this momentum into their next game against the University of Washington on Saturday, October 25, at the Kraken Community Iceplex. With their recent performance, they’ve certainly set a high bar for themselves. Stay tuned for more updates on the Bobcats’ season.
