In a spectacular display of skill and teamwork, the Montana State University Bobcats hockey team demolished the University of Washington Huskies with a staggering 11-0 victory on October 24, 2025. The game took place at the Kraken Community Iceplex in Washington and saw the Bobcats outperform the Huskies in every aspect of the match.
The Bobcats dominated the game from the start, taking a total of 45 shots compared to the Huskies’ 24. Despite the high number of shots, neither team was able to capitalize on powerplay opportunities, with both teams recording 0/0.
Bobcats goalie Reese Mcconnell had an exceptional game, blocking all 24 shots taken by the Huskies. On the other hand, Huskies goalie Yasmine Mohamed struggled to keep up with the Bobcats’ aggressive offense, saving only 34 of the 45 shots taken.
Rylan Lorentz, #22 of the Bobcats, was the star of the game, scoring 2 of the 11 goals. On the other side, Regan Thomas of the Huskies had a quiet night with 0 penalty minutes.
The Bobcats will be looking to continue their winning streak in their next game against the University of Washington on October 25, once again at the Kraken Community Iceplex. If this game is any indication, the Huskies will have their work cut out for them.
