In a riveting contest at Haynes Pavilion on October 18th, the Montana State University Bobcats emerged victorious over the University of Colorado Buffaloes with a final score of 3-1.
Despite being outshot 32 to 26 by the Buffaloes, the Bobcats showcased their defensive prowess, with goalie Reese McConnell making an impressive 31 saves out of 32 shots. On the other hand, the Buffaloes’ goalie, Zoe Watson, managed to save 23 out of 26 shots.
The Bobcats’ Nicola Roberts was the star player of the night, scoring two goals and leading her team to victory. The Buffaloes’ only goal came from Anna Masiello, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide in their favor.
