The Montana State University Bobcats put up an impressive performance against the University of Wyoming Pokes, ending the game with a 4-1 victory. The game was held at Haynes Pavilion on February 7, 2026.

Despite the Pokes having 55 shots against the Bobcats’ 35, the Bobcats showed their defensive prowess, with their goalie, Reese McConnell, saving 54 out of 55 shots. On the other hand, the Pokes’ goalie, Pudgie Sabinash, was able to save 31 out of 35 shots.

Both teams had opportunities to capitalize on power plays, but neither team could convert. The Pokes went 0/3 and the Bobcats went 0/4.

The game saw two standout players, Zoey Brown from the Pokes, and Nicola Roberts from the Bobcats, each scoring a goal.

The Bobcats will look to carry this momentum into their next game against the University of Utah. This home game will be held on Friday, February 20, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink.
