The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on February 21, 2026. The final score was a disappointing 7-1 in favor of the Antelopes. The game took place at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado.
The Antelopes dominated the game with a staggering 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. The Antelopes also had a successful powerplay, scoring once in their three attempts. The Bobcats, unfortunately, couldn’t capitalize on their two powerplay opportunities.
Goalie Annika Olson for the Antelopes had a solid game, facing 19 shots and making 18 saves. On the other side of the rink, Bobcats’ goalie Emma Carlson had a challenging night, facing 64 shots and making 57 saves.
The star of the game was undoubtedly the Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who scored an impressive hat trick. For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder managed to put one on the board, scoring the only goal for the team.
Despite the tough loss, the Bobcats will regroup and prepare for their next game, eager to bounce back from this setback.
