The Montana State University Bobcats faced a formidable opponent in the Grand Canyon University Antelopes on the evening of February 21st, 2026. The game, held at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado, ended with a disappointing 7-1 loss for the Bobcats.
The Antelopes dominated the game with a staggering 64 shots, compared to the Bobcats’ 19. They also outperformed the Bobcats in powerplay, scoring once in three attempts, while the Bobcats failed to score in their two powerplays.
Antelopes’ goalie, Annika Olson, had a solid performance, saving 18 out of 19 shots. On the other side of the rink, Bobcats’ goalie Emma Carlson faced a tough game, saving 57 out of 64 shots.
The star player of the night was undoubtedly Antelopes’ #12, Jennae Szucs, who scored three goals. For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder managed to put one on the scoreboard.
Despite the loss, the Bobcats showed resilience and determination. They will undoubtedly be looking to bounce back in their next game.
