The Montana State University Bobcats faced a challenging game against the University of Utah Utes on February 20th, 2026, at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado. The final score of the game was Utes 5 – Bobcats 2.

The Utes came out strong, firing 38 shots towards the Bobcats’ net, while the Bobcats held their own with 31 shots. Despite the Bobcats’ powerplay opportunities, they were unable to capitalize on any of their two chances. The Utes, on the other hand, did not have any powerplay opportunities.
