In a high-intensity game at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink, the Montana State University Bobcats fell to the University of Utah Utes with a final score of 5-2. Despite the loss, the Bobcats showed a strong performance, with a total of 31 shots against the Utes’ 38.
The Utes’ powerplay remained static at 0/0, while the Bobcats had a slightly higher powerplay at 0/2. The Bobcats’ goalie, Reese Mcconnell, had a commendable performance with 33 saves out of 38 shots. On the Utes’ side, Miranda De Antunano also showcased her skills, saving 29 out of 31 shots.
The Utes’ #12, Morgan Lavalley, made a significant contribution to the team’s victory with 2 goals. The Bobcats’ #22, Rylan Lorentz, also made his mark on the game with a goal.
