In a challenging game last night, the Montana State University Bobcats were defeated by the Grand Canyon University Antelopes with a final score of 7-1. The game took place at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado, marking a tough away game for the Bobcats.

The Antelopes dominated the rink, taking an impressive 64 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 19. Their powerplay was also more successful, scoring on one out of three opportunities, while the Bobcats could not capitalize on either of their two chances.

In goal, the Antelopes’ Annika Olson put on a stellar display, making 18 saves on 19 shots. On the other side of the ice, the Bobcats’ Emma Carlson faced a barrage of shots, managing to make 57 saves on 64 shots.

The standout player for the Antelopes was #12 Jennae Szucs, who scored an impressive hat-trick. For the Bobcats, #20 Marin Snyder was the lone scorer, managing to get one past Olson.
