The Utes had a strong offensive game, firing off 38 shots compared to the Bobcats’ 31. However, the Bobcats’ goalie, Reese McConnell, held his ground, making 33 saves on the 38 shots on goal. On the other side, Utes’ goalie Miranda De Antunano also put on a strong performance with 29 saves on the 31 shots by the Bobcats.
The Bobcats had two powerplay opportunities but were unable to capitalize on either. The Utes did not have any powerplay opportunities during the match.
The standout player for the Utes was #12 Morgan Lavalley, who scored 2 goals, while #22 Rylan Lorentz scored a goal for the Bobcats.
