In a thrilling game on February 20, 2026, the Montana State University Bobcats faced off against the University of Utah Utes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink in Colorado. Despite a valiant effort, the Bobcats were defeated 5-2 in a game that saw the Utes dominating on the ice.

The Utes’ goalie, Miranda De Antunano, had an impressive performance with 29 saves out of 31 shots.
