In a fierce game of hockey, the Montana State University Bobcats faced off against the University of Utah Utes at the CU Boulder Rec Center Ice Rink. Despite a valiant effort, the Bobcats fell to the Utes with a final score of 5-2.

Both teams showcased their offensive prowess throughout the game, with the Utes taking 38 shots and the Bobcats not far behind with 31 shots. However, the Utes managed to capitalize on their opportunities more effectively, securing their win.

The Bobcats had a couple of powerplay opportunities but were unable to convert either into a goal. The Utes did not have any powerplay chances throughout the game.

In the net, Utes goalie Miranda De Antunano saved 29 of the 31 shots she faced, while Bobcats goalie Reese Mcconnell saved 33 of the 38 shots from the Utes.

The star of the game was undoubtedly Utes’ #12 Morgan Lavalley, who scored two crucial goals. On the Bobcats’ side, #22 Rylan Lorentz managed to put one in the net.
