The Montana State University Bobcats faced off against the University of Utah Utes in a tough matchup at Haynes Pavilion on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Unfortunately, the Bobcats were unable to come out on top, falling to the Utes with a final score of 7-0.

The Utes came out strong, dominating the game with 29 shots on goal compared to the Bobcats’ 17 shots. The powerplay opportunities also favored the Utes, as they capitalized on 1 out of 2 chances, while the Bobcats struggled with a 0/7 powerplay conversion rate.

In the net, Utes’ goalie Miranda De Antunano put on a stellar performance, stopping all 17 shots she faced. On the Bobcats’ side, Kate Harris made 22 saves out of 29 shots, showing resilience despite the tough offensive pressure from the Utes.

Player #28 Alexandra Bye of the Utes stood out with 3 assists, contributing significantly to her team’s offensive success. Meanwhile, Bobcats’ player #15 Sophia Paris spent 2 penalty minutes in the box during the game.
