The WD1 Montana State University Bobcats hockey team took to the ice on Saturday, November 18th in Salt Lake City for a matchup against the WD1 University of Utah Utes. The Bobcats were hoping to extend their two-game winning streak, but unfortunately, the Utes had other plans. Despite the Bobcats having 19 shots, the Utes dominated the game with 48 shots and ended the night with a final score of 11-2.

The Bobcats had a tough time on the powerplay, going 0-3 while the Utes capitalized on their opportunities, going 2-6. Bobcats goalie Kate Harris had a tough night, facing 48 shots and making 17 saves, while Utes goalie Caroline Steegmans faced 19 shots and made 17 saves.

Bobcats forward Kaia Victorino had a strong game, notching two assists in the loss. Utes forward Marykate Schutt had a standout performance, scoring two goals in the victory.

The Bobcats will look to rebound from this loss as they take on the University of Colorado in their next game.
