The Montana State University Bobcats soared to an impressive victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes last night at Haynes Pavilion. The final score stood at a commanding 9-3 in favor of the Bobcats, demonstrating their offensive prowess.

The Bobcats outshot the Pokes by a significant margin, with 58 shots compared to the Pokes’ 32. Despite the Pokes’ five powerplay opportunities, they were unable to convert any into goals. The Bobcats also had three powerplay chances but failed to capitalize on them.

In the goaltending department, the Bobcats’ Emma Carlson faced 32 shots, making 29 saves. On the other hand, the Pokes’ Alayna Smith was bombarded with 58 shots, managing to save 49.

The star of the night was undoubtedly Bobcats’ #19 Aziana Schacht, who was instrumental in setting up her teammates, racking up a total of four assists. The Pokes’ #40 Lena Roubinek put up a valiant effort, scoring two of the Pokes’ three goals.
