In a thrilling game on February 7, the Montana State University Bobcats secured a decisive 4-1 victory over the University of Wyoming Pokes at Haynes Pavilion. Despite being outshot by the Pokes 55 to 35, the Bobcats showed their mettle and efficiency by converting their chances.

The Bobcats’ netminder, Reese McConnell, delivered an outstanding performance. Facing an onslaught of 55 shots, McConnell made a stunning 54 saves, allowing only a single goal. On the other side of the ice, Pokes’ goalie Pudgie Sabinash faced 35 shots, making 31 saves.

The powerplay units from both teams had a quiet night, with the Pokes going 0 for 3 and the Bobcats failing to capitalize on their four opportunities.

Scoring for the Pokes was #2 Zoey Brown, netting their solitary goal. For the Bobcats, #26 Nicola Roberts found the back of the net, contributing to the Bobcats’ four-goal tally.
